There are two types of Sorotouch:
- Online students who use the app to study alone at home.
- Students who study in a classroom with their friends and a teacher once a week.
“I’m undecided between having my kid be in a classroom or having him study alone using the app.” “I’m leaning towards having him study and use the app alone because there is no classroom nearby, but I’m worried about its continuity…” No worries! In this article, we’ll try to solve your problems!
Fees and effects on students. Solo or Classroom? What’s the difference?
There are two differences between solo students and classroom students of Sorotouch!
- Monthly fee
- Learning effects
The difference in the monthly fee
You can have a personal Sorotouch account for 4,000 JPY/month. With an account, you can freely download and use the Sorotouch app from the iPad’s App Store or Android’s Play store.
You can attend face-to-face or Online classrooms for 10,000 JPY/ month. That’s 4,000 JPY for the Sorotouch account and 6,000 JPY for the classroom fee.
Learning efficiency in classrooms
Why bother attending classrooms if we can have a personal account?
Students who only have the account to access the app have a higher possibility of quitting in the middle of the program. Tantrums, loss of interest, and difficulty advancing are one of the problems you’ll encounter.
On the other hand, inside the classroom, teachers can monitor students.
Your kid will have daily tasks and weekly lessons with the whole class. Having just the app is not enough. Placing your kid in an environment that can inspire and motivate them can lessen the stress on your side.
You’ll often hear:
“The teacher said I was leveling up fast.”
“I don’t want to lose to [__].”
“I’m doing my mission every day. I can’t wait to receive my present meals.“
Present meals, A reward system that the teacher has control.
Which one is better?
Each has its advantages. Solo students with their personal accounts have a lower monthly cost. If your kid can voluntarily continue by themselves, solo-account of Sorotouch is for you. Kids can then work on their development at their own pace.
However, it is not easy to continue working alone.
- The kid may get bored by themselves.
- You may find yourself constantly stressed out for repeatedly telling your kid to open the app.
- They may want to study with their friends.
With that said. We recommend going to a classroom where the kids can get support from their friends and teacher!
What are fees, class schedules, and application methods for classroom students? Can I apply for a trial?
The application process for classroom students is easy and takes only a minute. We also offer many free trial sessions, so we recommend you try it out first. Monthly fees are usually around 10,000 yen/month in all of our classrooms.
There are two types of classrooms: “face-to-face classrooms,” where your kid personally go to a nearby classroom to attend, and “Online classrooms,” where your kid attends via computer online.
If you’re interested in face-to-face classrooms, you must first check to see if there’s a classroom near your vicinity.
You can go to an online classroom no matter where you live.
You may want to try an online classroom first to see what it’s like.
We have trial sessions every Monday, Tusday, Wednesday, Sturday, and Sunday.
If you’re already decided, you can skip the trial lesson and proceed to enroll immediately.
