I wonder when does my kid advances to the next stage.
After watching your kid play Sorotouch every day, you might be thinking, when will they advance to the next stage, right?
Sorotouch stages start from J-1, then J-2, J-3, and so on. after completing the J stage. The kids will then progress to letters S and U.
A lot of kids stop progressing around levels J1- J5. It is important to get over the first half of stage J.
The early stages of 1 – 4 have one (1) digit number addition. Starting at stage 5, Expect more multiplication problems to show. As the kid progress forward, the level of difficulty also rises. Below are points of progress that you’ll see when the kid advances to the next stage.
“When the carry-over comes out.”
“When multiplication problem comes out.”
“When number five (5) bead comes out.”

Prerequisites in advancing.
Even though it looks as if they’re doing their best every day…
To advance through the next stage, you must complete 30 missions. That is one (1) mission per day in one (1) month. Can you finish that 30 mission faster than your friends? If I may add, some kids do three (3) or more missions per day.
But it looks like they already did at least 30 missions, still…
If that’s the case, the percentage of the Correct answers might be very low.
The Sorotouch software automatically takes notes of problems you usually find difficult and systematically have you re-answer them until you remember them.
If you rush to the next stage, you will end up stumbling through a wall, so
If you’re working on your own every day, relax and do it at your own pace.
You can also look at the percentage of correct answers you have solved in the app for self-motivation.
You might want to check it if you’re worried about having a lot of mistakes.
Checking your kid’s progress
If you’re on the main page, you can tell if your kid is progressing through the number and star marks on the upper left of the screen.
If you see six (6) stars, It means your kid is now ready to advance to the next stage.
If you see five (5) stars, encourage your kid! “look at that. one more star! do your best!” let’s use it as means to motivate our children.
Summary: When will the stage and level go up?
To sum it up,
- Finish 30 missions to advance
- Try to finish the missions with high marks.
- Six(6) stars mean the kid is now ready for the next stage.
Some kids might do more missions than others and are advancing fast, but It is important to have them move at their own pace. They might not progress further, even if they get to a high-level stage and haven’t gotten used to the lower stages.
Patience is the key. Let’s try to encourage and motivate them one step at a time!
